Encino Stamps & Digi Galore

Today is bliss for me - two of my favourite places coming together!

Perfect!!!!
The theme is Anything Goes so nice and easy.

The Digi I used is Sue with Teddy. I love her as she's so cute.

I decided to make something nice and easy so layered this card up using digital elements.
After adding a few drop shadows in Craft Artist 2 it looks like it's properly 3D.
The paper is from the digital Echo Park Scoot Paper Pack 1.

The Sentiment ifs a freebie from Gingers House.

I coloured Sue with Teddy with my Copics

Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04 with R20 Cheeks
Hair - E11, E15, E17, E23
Top - BV02, BV05, BV09, B99
Shorts - ..... I can't remember :P
Teddy - E25, E27, E29

I hope you like her x

Happy Birthday with Encino Stamps

Wow! Day 7 of our celebrations at Through the Purple Haze Challenges!
What a week it's been! So so so much fun!
This is our last day - and what a sponsor we've got! I've said it before and I'll say it again

I had Kalle the Meerkat to play with. What a cute little critter he is! I made him into this little tag.

I made the wrapping paper by pinting Kalle the Meerkat out many times on coloured paper.

I think I might have got a little carried away!
Ach well it means I'm well prepared for the next birthday that comes along :P

Here's a close up of Kalle the Meerkat

I coloured him with my Copics:
E30, E33, E35, E37
E44, E47, E49
Y15, Y17, Y38
BG05, BG07, BG09, BG99
R24, R27, R29, R59

I hope he's bought a smile to your face. Don't forget to leave a comment to enable you to be entered into the  Through the Purple Haze Challenges Blog Hop Prize draw, and the draw for the Blog Candy I have on offer.

Don't forget to complete the hop and enter the challenge - Ina from Encino Stamps has amazingly given Kalle free to everyone who enters!

You should have arrived here from Anita

and you're hopping on to Darcy

Thanks so much for helping celebrate our birthday.

Annie Baking with Stone the Dog looking hopeful

I couldn't resist making another card with Annie Baking from Encino, and this time I was lucky enough to get a chance to play with Stone - a rather stunning dog that will be released soon at Encino Stamps.

Here's Stone - I need to practice colouring dog hair, but this wasn't a bad first attempt.

and here's Annie

I'm still learning how to colour with my Copics, but getting there gradually.

Annie's Baking

It's been a few weeks since I played with any Encino Stamps and I've been missing them, so I decided to make a card with Annie Baking.

I used a paper and elements from the Carta Bella Homemade With Love Digi Kit.
I inked the edges of the paper, and cut the embellishments out and mounted them on foam pads.

I even added a recipe to the recipe card - yes you can see just how bad my handwriting is!

I coloured Annie Baking with my Promarkers and mounted her on foam pads.

I hope you like her. Those chocolate chip cookies look good enough to eat!

New Home card with Encino

Today I whipped up a quick New Home card using the Home Card  cut file and Ellen with Cake.

I thought about how people often take a cake round to new neighbours - and up popped Ellen!

This is the card front - I love how simple but how effective it is.

Ellen looks great peeking through.

When you open the card Ellen is there ready with her cake.

I hope you like it.

Birthday Celebrations

It was Birthday time in our house this week as my husband celebrated his 30 something birthday. He's a big dog fan so I made him this card using Paul the Dog from Encino Stamps.

I'm pleased with how he turned out, but fur is difficult to colour, so I'll try him a bit differently next time.

The other thing I made for my husband was a Minion Cake! It was an idea I came up with and wasn't sure it would work, but it came good in the end. His face when he saw it was a picture! A very happy 30 something year old :P

Encino and Digi Galore - Two of my Favourite Things!

I'm Happy as Larry today as two of my favourite things have come together! Encino Stamps is sponsoring Digi Galore Challenges!!!! How great is that???!!! I consider myself so lucky to be on the DT for this amazing digi stamp shop and this amazing challenge blog!

The theme is Anything Goes so nice and easy.

I decided to make a really fun card this time. I was thinking of those pull out tab books that we had as a kid and decided to make something similar. It took a bit of thought to work it out, but I got there in the end.

I didn't have a present Digi so made one myself in Craft Artist 2.

Look at that tempting pull tab. Give it a gentle pull and out comes .........

I thought she'd be perfect for this fun card!

The Sentiment is from Stampin Up's A Word for You Digital Stamp

I coloured everything using my Promarkers:

Present:
Royal Blue, Indigo Blue
Yellow, Sunflower, Gold, Raw Sienna
Red, Berry Red, Cardinal Red, Burgundy

Gerlinde:
Leaf Green, Bright Green, Forest Green
Green, Lush Green, Pine
Red, Berry Red, Cardinal Red, Burgundy
Yellow, Sunflower, Gold, Raw Sienna

I hope I've made you smile.

Don't forget to join us at Digi Galore Challenges to join in with Anything Goes

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Just Inspirational Challenges - Anything Goes Blog Hop
I Love Promarkers - Let's Get Spotty
Paper Pretties - Birthday Cards

Ellen and her Cake in a Pop Up Box

I've seen these Pop Up Cards all over the place in the Facebook groups I'm in and decided to have a go at making one. It's one of those cards that looks really difficult to make, but is actually really easy.

When you pull the card out of the envelope it looks flat and unexciting.

But when you let it open it pops up into a 3D Pop Up Card with Ellen holding her cake as a nice surprise!

From above you can see the different 'struts' that go in the box allowing you to add dimension to the layers.

You can see this depth when you see it from the side.

Here's Ellen With Cake surrounded by the balloons I made and coloured with my Promarkers.

INSTRUCTIONS

I saw this YouTube video that showed me how to make it but used metric measurements with folds at 7, 14, 21, 28 cm along the long side and 7cm on the short side and trimmed it at 14cm.

I can see these card becoming addictive! They're so easy to make, but look as though they've taken hours!

Annie in a Celebratory Mode - Encino Stamps

I had fun making this card using Annie in Celebratory Mode.

I used my Cougar cutting machine from Thyme Graphics to cut the card front so it was the same shape as Annie. I saw this idea on Pinterest and wanted to try it. I think it looks quite effective.

I embossed the card front with a stars embossing folder from Crafts Too. I then coloured the embossed stars with my Yellow Promarker to make them stand out a bit more.

The 'Celebrate with Style' is an acrylic stamp I've had for ages.

I coloured Annie using my Promarkers;

Skin - Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush with Pastel Pink Cheeks
Hair - Tulip Yellow, Sunflower, Gold, Raw Sienna
Dress - Cerise, Shocking Pink*, Maroon
Necklace - Gold Gell Pen

I hope you like her x

Freddy the Frog Notebook - Encino Stamps

The young son of the recipient of the 'Hoppy Birthday' card I made a few weeks ago loved Freddy the Frog from Encino Stamps so much that he wanted his very own one. Rather than make a card I altered the front of this notebook so Freddy can go with him wherever he goes.

He's ready to hop into and envelope and jump to his new home.

Encino - Annie's Snowball Fight

Time for another fun image from Encino Stamps. This time it's Annie and she's having a great snowball fight. She's coming soon to the Encino Stamp Shop so make sure you're ready to duck!

I mounted Annie in a plastic frame I was given a while ago.

I coloured her using my Promarkers:

Skin - Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush with Pastel Pink Cheeks
Hair - Cocoa, Henna, Chestnut, Walnut

Coat and Hat - Red, Berry Red, Cardinal Red, Burgundy
Gloves and Coat Details - Pilot Gold Pen
Top - Ivory, Satin
Trousers - Royal Blue, Indigo Blue

Now are you ready for the really fun bit????

Sleigh Ride with Sue - Encino Stamps

I wanted to make a fun card with this image of a Sleigh Ride with Sue (coming soon to the Encino Stamp store) so decided on a play on words to make a fun 40th Birthday card.

I used my Cougar's ability to Print and Cut to create a unique card shape with Sue riding down a lovely snowy slope. I also used it to cut the 'Happy 40th' from silver card.

I coloured Sleigh Ride with Sue with my Promarkers

Skin - Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush with Pastel Pink cheeks
Hair - Tulip Yellow, Sunflower, Gold, Raw Sienna
Top - Cerise, Shocking Pink*, Maroon
Trousers - Purple, Aubergine
Boots - Turquoise, Marine, Petrol Blue
Sleigh - Cocoa, Henna, Chestnut, Walnut

I sprayed some Arctic Blue and Ice Grey 1 Promarkers with my Blitzer to give a little texture to the snow.

I hope you like her.

Freddy the Frog

I'm so honoured and excited to have been asked to be part of the Encino Design Team. I've loved Ina's images since she opened, so when she asked me to join I was literally speechless (anyone who knows me will know what an unusual thing that is!). I'm really looking forward to colouring these lovely images.

A little bit about me - I'm 34 yrs old. I live in the South West of England and have been crafting pretty much all of my life. My biggest love is colouring with my Promarker pens and I've been addicted to Digi Stamps for about 2 years now. I love how flexible they are and how little storage space they take up. I do all sorts of other crafting too, but Promarker colouring is my favourite.

I made this Birthday card using the lovely Freddy the Frog and made him nice and bright and colourful as he looks like a cheery chap.

I created the sky by cutting some cloud masks on my Cougar then spraying Sky blue, Azure and True Blue Promarkers with my hand airbrush tool. I love the effect it gives.

The font is Jokerman

I coloured Freddy using my Lime Green, Bright Green and Forest Green Promarkers.
I cut him out using the Print and Cut function on my Cougar Cutting Machine from Thyme Graphics and I put an extra cut along his front legs a little so he could be hopping over the front layer of grass (Grass border cut file).

I really hope you like him. Thanks so much Ina for inviting me onto the Team. I'm really looking forward to creating more cards.

Happy Birthday Anita - Blog Hop!

Happy Birthday Anita!

The Girls at Through the Purple Haze Challenges and me have been a bit sneaky and planned a Birthday Blog Hop to celebrate your Birthday. We love being part of the DT and wanted to give you a great big Birthday internet hug! So here you are! Consider yourself hugged!

I decided to make you a silly card that will make you smile. I used this gorgeous frog who will soon be hopping into the Encino Stamp Shop. I'm lucky enough to have been asked to be part of the Enrico Design Team so will have more lovely images to show soon.

I really hope his cheeky grin makes you smile. He should be hopping out of your post box soon!

We really hope you enjoy the hop (no pun intended!). Your next stop is with the wonderful Lisbeth x
