Flower Arranging Course

I'm doing a 5 week free Flower Arranging Course with Rhiannon at our local adult education centre. It's in addition to the Italian Cooking Course Andy and I do with Giovanni at the same place.

I've never been any good at flower arranging so thought a free course was the ideal way to start. It's concentrating on using recycled and alternative methods of securing flowers so a is a bit different. Last week we used a shoe as a holder which worked well.

This week was tin cans which we used in 3 ways. I wasn't overly keen on the stick one (although I think it might have looked better with smaller twigs rather than the thicker bits I found.

The simpler ones with coloured or corrugated card wrapped round the tin worked a bit better.

I think I was a bit tired and lacking in inspiration this week cos I prefer the shoe from last week.

We need to find a teapot and teacup and saucer for next week so watch this space!

Now I really must stop blogging and go and tackle the kitchen.
